Amoebas Realm

“Did you know that both rye straw and the amoeba Euglypha rotunda rely on biomineralization, extracting silica from their environment to create protective structures?”

Intention statement

In the Amoebas Realm series, invisible microorganisms have evolved into colossal entities, reshaping ecosystems and directing the course of evolution. Each sculpture functions as an artifact from this speculative world, embodying a civilization adapting to a transformed environment. Piece by piece, the series unfolds a narrative of survival, adaptation, and coexistence.

Presented as relics of a future past, these works invite reflection on the cyclical nature of civilizations, ecological balance, and humanity's place within the unseen systems that shape life on Earth.
