Welcome to the website of Jonathän Jouan Studios. By accessing this website and purchasing artwork, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Artwork Information
Every artwork is handmade by Jonathän Jouan. Due to the handcrafted nature of the works and the use of natural materials, slight variations, irregularities, and natural characteristics may occur. These are inherent to the artistic process and are not considered defects.
All dimensions provided are approximate.
2. Orders & Payment
Orders are confirmed only after full payment or receipt of the agreed deposit for commissioned works.
Accepted payment methods will be specified at the time of purchase.
For commissioned projects, production will begin only after the agreed deposit has been received.
3. Pricing
All prices displayed on this website include worldwide shipping unless otherwise stated.
Prices do not include customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, or any other charges imposed by the destination country.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Worldwide shipping is included in the purchase price unless otherwise specified.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs procedures, and carrier operations.
Jonathän Jouan is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
5. Customs Duties, VAT & Import Charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by local authorities and remain the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Such charges are not included in the artwork price and, if applicable, must be paid by the buyer upon importation.
6. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the unique and handcrafted nature of the artworks, all sales are final.
No returns, exchanges, or refunds are accepted unless the artwork arrives damaged during transit.
Custom commissions cannot be cancelled once production has begun, and deposits paid for commissioned works are non-refundable.
7. Damaged Shipments
If an artwork arrives damaged, the buyer must notify Jonathän Jouan within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of:
The damaged artwork;
The packaging materials;
The shipping crate or box.
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect insurance claims.
8. Intellectual Property
All content displayed on this website, including but not limited to artworks, photographs, texts, logos, designs, and graphics, is the exclusive property of Jonathän Jouan and is protected by international copyright laws.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this website will be used solely for communication, order processing, and customer service purposes. Personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties except when necessary to process orders or comply with legal obligations.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the Province of Quebec, Canada.
